Fords (NJ): Mr. Nirav Mehta has been elected as the president of the Federation of Indian Association\'s (NY, Ni & CT) for the year 2010.Mr. Mehta was elected as the president during the annual general body meeting which was held recently at the Royal Albert\'s Palace here.

The other members of his team include Mr. Nimesh Dave, vice president, Mr. Bipin Patel executive Vice President, Mr. Haresh Shah joint secretary, Mr. Haresh  Hemrajani secretary and Mr. Ahmed Shakir as treasurer.

The outgoing President Mr. Dipak Patel welcomed the guest and presented the annual report. Secretary and Treasurer also presented their reports respectively. Election Committee comprising of Mr.Yash Pal Soi, Mr.Ram Gadhavi and Mr. Mangal Gupta announced the formation of the new 2010 Executive Committee.

Mr. Nirav Mehta who spearheads the New Force In Action took charge from January 1, 2010.The first event coming up under his leadership will be on January 23 — "Dance Pe Chance" — A Bollywood Dance Competition in celebration of India\'s 61st Republic Day.

"Dance Pe Chance" is a Bollywood dance extravaganza that promises to set all of alight with the vivacity and passion that epitomizes Bollywood.

Established in 1970, FIA\'s is completing its 40 years of glorious history in year 2010 and Team FIA is planning special events to celebrate the 40 years of success. Similarly, the World famous India Day Parade started by FIA in  will be celebrated on August 15, 2010.
